December of 1979 I was in my senior year at University of Wisconsin - Madison when I found myself on the beach in Fort Lauderdale for winter break. The women were running around half naked and I thought I’d died, went to heaven and stayed. That’s what I tell everybody. I decided to take a short break and got a job as an electrician’s helper. ( thanks to a States sponsored pre-apprenticeship program.) I enjoyed it so much I went through the apprenticeship program and got my Florida Journeyman Electrician License.

I remember thinking about my gun collection in Wisconsin. (Feburary 1980)  In Florida's Big Cities, the only thing guns are good for is to shoot people. I gave all my guns to my brothers in Wisconsin. Back then I had a 35MM SLR Nikon, a portable dark room and shot everything with a camera. For you young people, what is a dark room?

Side note: My wife Beverly  a former Metro-Dade Officer and  Federal Marshal working in Miami Courthouse. In 2010 gave my Bother Her "Dirty Harry" Colt Python .357 Magnum and her Smith & Wesson 38 Special to my Cousin because it might be stolen and used in a crime.
